Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Phobia Quiz, operated by MyTherapy LLC d/b/a Bia, uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. “Local storage” is a similar technology that lets a site remember small pieces of information in your browser between visits. In this Policy we use “cookies” to refer to both. Cookies may be set by the site you are visiting (first-party) or by a third party whose content is embedded on the page (third-party).
How Phobia Quiz uses them
Phobia Quiz is deliberately light on cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. The site uses a small amount of first-party local storage to remember your choices, and the embedded Bia tools may set their own cookies or storage needed to run the interactive tests.
First-party (set by Phobia Quiz)
| Name | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| pq_consent_v1 | Local storage | Remembers that you have agreed to our Terms and Privacy Policy so we do not prompt you again before each tool. |
Third-party (set by the embedded Bia tools)
The tests and Fear Profile are served by Bia from biajourney.com and may set cookies or storage required to run the tool, remember your progress within a session, and size the embedded frame. These run anonymously. If you continue to Bia, Bia’s own cookie and privacy policies apply.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Some features may not work correctly if you do. For general guidance on managing cookies, see allaboutcookies.org.
